We are all prisoners of a society that we are raised in and will never be able to fully escape from this construct. What we can control is our own perceiving and the way we look at ourselves and our own role within the group we call society.
eggshell is an exhibition of selfportraits addressing female sexualisation, the ideal of beauty, inequality and the question of how to assert oneself as a woman in a male-dominated world without losing ones own sensuality.
